Q1Media Merges With AdExcite

Austin-based digital advertising network Q1Media announced Wednesday that it has merged with video advertising network AdExcite. Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed. According to Q1Media, it will continue to be headquartered in Austin, and now has 30 full time team members. As part of the merger, Q1Media said it expects to add 25 employees spread between its Austin, Los Angeles, and New York locations in 2013. Q1Media operates an online, display advertising network. The firm said the merger will add video and mobile advertising to its product line.
