DBI Lands Funding For DB2 Database Tools
Austin-based DBI, a developer of IBM DB2 database optimization tools, said Thursday that it has received its first major outside investment. Size of the investment was not announced by the company. The company said the investment came from private equity investors. As part of the investment, the company said it has appointed Jason Paull as its new CEO, and Lee Goddard as Chief Performance Architect. Paull was the lead investor in the company's funding, and previously served at refresH20, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Continental Airlines. DBI software developers products used to optimize the performance of DB2, IBM's relational database software. More information »
