Cloud49 Taps CTERA For Cloud Storage Efforts

Cloud49, an Austin-based cloud storage services provider, has tapped storage products developer CTERA Networks as part of its offerings, the firms said this morning. CTERA said that Cloud49 is using its products for Cloud49 Backup AS (Advanced Security), a hybrid storage product which links customers to AWS GovCloud, the private storage service being offered by Amazon.com for government customers. Cloud49 says it has cloud computing operations in Austin; Anchorage, Alaska; and Los Angeles, California.
