Spredfast Partners With Brandwatch
Austin-based social media management software developer Spredfast and brand monitoring provider Brandwatch said today they have entered into a strategic partnership. According to the two, the integration deal allows organizations to monitor posts on social networks, including Twitter, Facebook, blogs, Amazon.com, TripAdvisor.com, and others, and see those in Spredfast's content streams. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The companies said the integration can be used to better identify sales opportunities, service customer care requests, gather insights on competitors, and more. Spredfast is venture backed by OpenView Venture Partners, Austin Ventures and InterWest Partners, and headed by Rob Favaron.
