RadioShack Pulls Amazon Lockers From Stores
Fort Worth-based electronics retailer RadioShack has pulled delivery lockers it had installed in some of its stores, after a falling out with online retailer Amazon.com, according to reports Wednesday afternoon. Apparently, both RadioShack and Staples have decided to un-install the delivery lockers, which had been part of Amazon.com's Locker program--which allowed customers to get their packages from the online retailer delivered to secure lockers at retail locations, and avoid getting their deliveries and packages stolen from their doorstep. Amazon.com and others have been looking to make it easier to deliver packages in urban areas, where getting packages to customers is often difficult.
