PROS Holdings Takes Majority Stake In French Software Maker

Houston-based PROS Holdings said today that it now owns 83.4% of Cameleon Software, a French developer of multi-channel and multi-device product configurator, quote, and proposal software. PROS said the move comes after an initial tender offer for Cameleon. PROS announced its acquisition of Cameleon in October, saying it would pay $33M for the company. The company is now working through the process of consummating the merger, as Cameleon is publicly traded in Europe.
