Report: Bazaarvoice Should Sell PowerReviews, Says DOJ

It looks like things are not going so well for Austin's Bazaarvoice, the ratings and reviews site. According to a report Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Justice is proposing that Bazaarvoice divest the assets of PowerReviews, as a means to resolve the antitrust investigation of the company. The DOJ has been investigating the acquisition of PowerReviews by Bazaarvoice since July of 2012, as a result of the $152M purchase of the competing ratings and review company back in May of 2012.
