Pixmarx Takes On Photo Sharing, Enhancement
Looking to jazz up those selfie photos you just took of you and your friends? Austin-based Pixmarx is hoping that users will flock to its new, photo bragging app, which lets those selfie users add photo frames, apply filters, logos, and more to photos, which can then be posted by users to social media sites. According to Pixmarx, its app includes thirteen filters and a wide choice of seasonal, sports, and humorous frames for users. The app also automatically captions those frames with nearby location and landmark information. Pixmarx said it was created by Barry Crutchfield and Gary Lipps; Crutchfield apparently came up with the app idea when posting photos of his University of Texas tailgate crew.
