Unseen Gets $2.1M For Anonymous Photo Sharing
Austin-based Bearch, a developer of social collaboration tools, said Tuesday that it has raised $2.1M in funding for its anonymous photo sharing app, Unseen. The funding came from Dirk Elmendorf (co-founder of Rackspace), Rony Kahan (CEO/co-founder of Indeed.com), Doss Cunningham (CEO of Woodbolt International) and other angels. Unseen was created by Bearch co-founders Michael Schramm and Munjal Budhabhatti, and lets college students share photos anonymously--with no names, logins, sign in, or other identifying information. The company's app runs on Android and iPhone. The company specifically limits users to those in college. More information »
