Epicor Software On The Block

Austin-based Epicor Software, the developer of supply chain management software, is on the block, according to a report Tuesday from the WSJ. According to the report, private equity firm Apax Partners--which acquired Epicor in 2011--has hired investment bank Jeffries to find a buyer for the company. The WSJ says the deal is being shopped at around $3.5 billion.
