Epicor Buys ShopVisible

Austin-based software developer Epicor said this morning that it has acquired ShopVisible, a provider of cloud-based retail order management and e-commerce software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Epicor said this is the second acquisition it has made in the retail sector in the last two months. ShopVisible will become part of Epicor Retail, with ShopVisible's cofounders, Sean Cook and Josh Lloyd, joining to lead Epicor's cloud-based order management and digital commerce initiatives. Shopvisible was based in Atlanta.
