Zix Ties Into Google Apps

Dallas-based email encryption software provider Zix said today that it has launched a new product for Google Apps, Google's set of cloud-based applications aimed at businesses, with a new email encryption product. Zix said it has launched the Google Apps Message Encryption (GAME) product--developed at the request of Google--to allow users to secure email when communicating outside of Google's cloud services. Zix said that Google will be making its new GAME product commercially available to customers via Google's sales team. Zix said the product is specifically being aimed at extending secure email outside of Google's own secure infrastructure. Pricing on the new product was not announced.
