Aurea Buys Unit Of ista International

Austin-based software and services provider Aurea said late Thursday that it has acquired the North American operations of ista International. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Aurea said the unit will be renamed Aurea Energy Solutions, and will operate as a division of the company. Aurea said the acquired operations provide energy companies with billing, customer management, hosted electronic data exchange (EDI) and on-demand information exchange services. Aurea is led by Scott Brighton.
