Dell Bundles Backup, Disaster Recovery Products

Round Rock-based Dell has simplified its data backup options for business customers, giving full access to a suite of data backup apps through a single, capacity-based license. According to Dell, it will offer up AppAssure, NetVault Backup and vRanger, three different enterprise data backup and recovery products, via a single capacity license, to help customers manage backup on physical, virtual, or cloud infrastructure. Dell said its new Dell Backup & Disaster Recovery Suite is aimed at letting customers "mix and match" what data protection they need for their needs, and not have to overpay for software.
