Parqer Takes On Valet Parking Payments In Austin

Dallas-based Parqer said last week that it has expanded its mobile payment app to Austin, letting consumers pay for valet parking using their smartphone. The company--which launched its service in Dallas in May--said its mobile app lets users pay for valet parking at a number of Austin restaurant locations. The app works on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and links with a user's credit or debit card. The company's Austin locations include Uchi, Uchiko, parkside, olive & june, and the backspace; the company said it will add Vince Young's Steakhouse, Fogo de Chao, and The Belmont soon.
