SpotHero, FlashParking Launch Bluetooth Parking In Austin

Parking reservation app and software provider SpotHero and Austin parking technology developer FlashParking said this morning that the two are launching a service in Austin, which will allow SpotHero's drivers to use Bluetooth smartphones to access garages. Financial details of the link were not announced. FlashParking supplies "smart" parking stations across Austin and beyond to help parking operators manage their parking garages and to collect payments. According to the two, they are calling the integration "one-tap redemption" of SpotHero's driving reservations. The pilot covers 14 locations in Austin.
