Clarify Finds $1M For Audio, Video Search

Austin-based Clarify has raised $1M in a seed financing round, from a who's who of Austin investors. According to Clarify, the funding came from Projector Ventures, Silverton Partners, Blake Chandlee, Michale Rauchman, Brett Hurt, and Sam Decker. According to Clarify, it has developed a platform which allows developers to embed audio and video search directly into their mobile and web applications. As part of the funding, Sam Decker has joined the company's board of directors. Clarify is led by Paul Murphy. Clarify said the new funding will go towards engineering its platform, to support early customers, and to help it grow in key markets.
