Silicon Labs Aims At Automotive Market With New Audio Software
Austin-based semiconductor developer Silicon Labs rolled out a new set of audio software products aimed at the automotive market on Wednesday afternoon, according to the company. Silicon Labs said its new software, aimed at use in audio system devices in automobiles, lets designers implement audio post processing in car radio systems. The new audio software works with the company's Global Eagle Si47911/12 radio ICs, which are used for audio system devices. The software includes abilities like tone control, cabin equalization, chime generation, and many other audio processing functions.
