HID Global Gets Win In Greece

Austin-based HID Global, the provider of authentication and access control systems, said this morning that it has scored a win with a Greek bank. HID Global said that Piraeus Bank is using the company's card printers and encoders to instantly issue debit cards to retail banking customers. Financial details of the win were not announced. HID Global said Piraeus has a network of over 800 branches, spread across Greece, the UK, Germany, and Eastern Europe. HID Global has been in a big expansion in Austin in the last year.
