ZTE Launches $50,000 Ugly Conference Room Makeover Contest

Smartphone manufacturer ZTE, which has its U.S. headquarters in Richardson, Texas, said today that it has launched a contest to find the ugliest conference room in America. The manufacturer said the contest will award $50,000--and the services of an office interior design expert--to transform that conference room into something worth sharing with visitors. The company launched the contest as part of the launch of a new, projection display and hotspot product, called the ZTE Spro 2 Smart Projector; ZTE sells that projector via Verizon and its 4G LTE network. ZTE's projector features a mobile hotspot for up to 10 devices.
