XOR Gets $4.2M For Data Analytics Platform

Austin-based XOR Data Exchange, a developer of data analytics tools aimed at helping companies with fraud and credit risk, has raised $4.2M in a Series A funding, the company said Thursday. XOR said the funding was led by Fenway Summer Ventures, and also included Chicago Ventures and KGC Capital. XOR is led by Mike Cook. XOR offers up an online platform and data exchange used by companies to share data, to help manage fraud and credit risk. The company said its data clearinghouse is used by companies to better identify fraud and credit risks in new financial services or telecommunications account openings. More information »
