LiveOps In Hiring Push
Austin-based cloud contact center software developer LiveOps said Friday that it is in a big push to add 5,000 independent, work-at-home agents at the company this fall, to help it meet its demand for contact center services. LiveOps--which uses a network of independent contractors all wired into its system for contact centers--said the growth compaes from demand from both its existing customers, as well as 10 new, major brands who have signed up recently with the company. LiveOps said its agents work from home, handling inbound sales, roadside assistance, insurance claims, life insurance sales and healthcare services for its clients; it says it already has more than 20,000 independent contractors working from home for the company.
