RunTitle Raises $8M

Austin-based oil and gas data startup RunTitle, which offers up an online marketplace for mineral title data, said this morning that it has raised $8M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Founders Fund, and also included Deep Fork Capital, Austin Ventures, and angels. RunTitle has an online data clearinghouse of mineral title data, the records of who owns the mineral/drilling rights, which has been very difficult to locate, as most of those records have not been computerized.
