Xtera Communications IPO Expected This Week

Allen, Texas-based Xtera Communications is expected to debut on the market sometime this week, according to the NASDAQ IPO calendar, as the company looks to debut on the NASDAQ Global Market as XCOM. Xtera is hoping to raise as much as $69.57M for the company in its IPO, which has been estimated at between $9.00 and $11.00 per share. Xtera is currently on its IPO road show. Xtera's IPO is being underwritten by Needham & Company, Cowen and Company, and BMO Capital Markets. The company makes optical transport equipment, and is venture backed by ARCH Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Sevin Rosen Funds, VantagePoint Capital Partners, and The Wellcome Trust.
