ShopSavvy Acquired By Purch

Dallas-based mobile shopping app developer ShopSavvy has been acquired by online publisher Purch, Purch announced today. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. ShopSavvy develops a mobile, barcode scanning and comparison shopping app, which also features sales from local stores. ShopSavvy got its start back in 2008, as Big In Japan, and was founded by Alexander Muse, Rylan Barnes, and John Boyd; Muse left the company a number of years ago.
