Alert Logic Approaching $100M Run Rate

Houston-based AlertLogic says it is approaching a $100M run rate, with $81M in revenues in 2015 and $98M run rate in December. According to the company, it had 40 percent growth in 2015 over 2014. Alert Logic, led by Gray Hall, develops security-as-a-service to data center customers. The company said that, in particular, it saw growth in the number of customers running on Amazon Web Services and other cloud platforms. The privately held company has been trumpeting its growth rate since January; the company is owned by private equity investor Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe.
