Vast Raises $14M More For CarStory Used Car Marketplace

Austin-based Vast, the startup which operates the online, used car marketplace CarStory and also is working on similar real-estate marketplaes, has raised $14M in an investment round, from Capital One Growth Ventures. According to Vast, it will use the investment to accelerate the growth of CarStory. CarStory allows consumers to search for used cars, nationwide, letting them compare available vehicles and prices. Vast is led by John Price. Vast said the investment will grow its CarStory product footprint while bringing its big data platform to other industries such as real estate. Capital One Group Ventures' Jaidev Shergill joins the company's board with the funding. More information »
