Zello Links With Two Way Radio Accessory Maker

Austin-based Zello, which makes a popular mobile app for the iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, and Blackberry, which makes those phones work like a two way, push-to-talk (PTT) radio, has linked up with a maker of two way radio accessories to offer up handsets, speaker-mics, and other products on its site. Zello and Pryme, a maker of accessories for the two way radio market, said they have partnered, and are now offering up five different accessories from Pryme on Zello's website. Financial details of that partnership were not disclosed. Zello's app lets users communicate using push-to-talk in one on one and group conversations, much like traditional walkie talkies and two way radio systems, but instead use Wi-Fi or cell connections.
