FiberLight Extends Dark Fiber Network in Texas

FiberLight, which provides fiber optic networking services, said it has expanded its network in Texas today, connecting areas in the Texas valley near the Mexican border, to Houston, San Antonio and Dallas. FiberLight said the extension is part of a larger, 12,000-mile, 100G long haul network that it is building. The company did not say how many miles of network, or how much it is spending on the new Texas route. FiberLight is based in Atlanta.
