Accelerate Learning Gets $10M For STEM Education
Houston-based Accelerate Learning, a developer of digital resources for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, has raised $10M in a Series A funding round, the company said this morning. The funding came from Owl Resources. Accelerate Learning is a spinout of Rice University, and previously has raised funding from Rice Management Company, the steward of the Rice University endowment. Accelerate Learning develops STEMscopes, a science curriculum which provides teachers with digital content and resources, print materials, and hands-on kits focused on various STEM curriculum, in the Pre-K to 12 area.
