Icontrol Networks' Austin Arm Acquired By Comcast

Icontrol Networks, which develops smart home automation products, said Thursday that its Austin, cable business unit has been acquired by Comcast. The remainder of the company has been sold to Alarm.com. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Icontrol Networks' Austin office developed the platform which is behind the Comcast Xfinity Home systems.
