Lilly & Bella Takes On Subscription, Organic Food Delivery

Dallas-based Lilly & Bella, a new organic food subscription service founded by Dallas mother Karen Salerno, said it has launched its services in the DFW area. The startup said it delivers fresh, organic produce to families, specifically to allow those customers to create their own, home-made baby food from scratch. The company says it charges anywhere from $24.99 a week to $34.99 a week for its delivery service, depending on the age of the baby. Salerno--who also serves as CEO of the startup--said that Dallas celebrity chef and Food Network star Sarah Penrod is assisting the company with recipe development and is a spokesperson for the company.
