Rackspace Sells Cloud Sites Business

San Antonio-based Rackspace said in its quarterly results on Monday that it has agreed to sell its Cloud Sites business to Liquid Web. Financial details of that sale were not announced. Rackspace said it is divesting services that are "not core" to its strategy of serving more enterprise customers. Cloud Sites offered up web hosting to web developers and designers. Liquid Web is based in Michigan.
