FloSports Finds $21.2M For Sports Streaming
Austin-based FloSports, which operates a network of live sports streaming networks across a wide range of sports areas, has raised $21.2M in a Series B funding. The funding came from DCM Ventures and Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI), plus the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Discovery Communications and Causeway Media Partners. FloSports, led by Martin Floreani, said it will use the funding to grow into new and existing sports. The company currently offers live sports streaming for wrestling, track, grappling, MMA, elite fitness, boxing, fastpitch softball, gymnastics, basketball, tennis, volleyball, cheerleading and eSports.
