FloSports Debuts On Roku, Apple TV
Austin-based sports media and content provider FloSports says it has rolled out new apps for both Roku and Apple TV, and it expands its distribution. The startup--which offers up sports coverage of wrestling, MMA, boxing, gymnastics, basketball, track, and a wide variety of other content--says the apps are free, and offer up a combination of free and premium content. FloSports is led by Martin Floreani, and is backed by DCM Ventures, Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI), the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Discovery Communications and Causeway Media Partners. The company raised a big $21.2M funding round in August.
