Lab7 Systems Finds $3.0M For Life Sciences Software
Austin-based Lab7 Systems, a developer of workflow management software for the life sciences market, has raised $3.0M in the first tranche of a Series A financing. According to the company, the funding is part of a planned, $5.0M funding round. The source of the funding was not announced by the company. The company said it is building a platform to enable life science laboratories to manage their workflows in data-intensive environments. Christopher Mueller is President and CTO of Lab7 Systems. Jim Graham, a private investor associated with the investment group behind the deal, joins Lab7's board.
