Quest, SonicWall Spun Out Of Dell Software Group

Quest and SonicWall have both been spun out of Dell Software Group, after the successful completion of the acquisition of Dell's software arm by private equity investors Francisco Partners and Elliott Management, the two said on Tuesday. Quest and SonicWall will both operate as separate, independent companies. Dell, Francisco, and Elliott announced the divestment of Dell Software back in June.
