FMC Technologies, Technip Get Brazilian Antitrust Clearance

Houston-based undersea oil and gas technology developer FMC Technologies and French company Technip announced late Thursday that the two have received Brazilian antitrust clearance for their merger. The two had announced in May that they would merge. Both companies develop technology used in oil and gas discovery. FMC and Technip said Brazil is the last outstanding antitrust clearance required for the companies before closing the deal.
