Experiment Engine Acquired By Optimizely

Austin-based Experiment Engine, a developer of A/B testing tools which helps develops test different versions of their websites, has been acquired by Optimizely, the companies said on Wednesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Experiment Engine says it has been working with Optimizely as a technology partner since its beginning. Experiment Engine was founded in 2014 by Claire Vo and EJ Lawless, and was backed by Corsa Ventures, Mercury Fund, and local Austin angels.
