Brightpearl Rolls Out iOS Point-Of-Sale Software

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software maker Brightpearl, which just announced its US headquarters here in Austin earlier this month, said today that it has launched a new, iOS point-of-sale (POS) software product called Brightpearl POS. According to Brightpearl, the new software offers retailers a single view of sales and inventory across all channels, and also integrates with PayPal's PayPal Here mobile payment solution. The new product is aimed at allowing traditional brick and mortar retailers centrally manage both traditional retail and their web- and online marketplace inventory. Brightpearl, which is headquartered in the UK, opened an office here in April, with plans to hire more employees locally.
