OpenKey Signs Up Hotel In DC

Dallas-based OpenKey has signed up another hotel customer, the company said this morning, this time in Washington, D.C. According to OpenKey, the Melrose Georgetown Hotel will use OpenKey as its mobile room entry solution. Financial impact of the new win was not announced. OpenKey is a developer of mobile apps, which integrate with Bluetooth-enabled locks in hotels, so that a guest's smartphone can be used in lieu of a traditional key.
