Transplace Acquired By TPG Capital

Dallas-based logistics and transportation management services provider Transplace has been acquired by private equity investor TPG Capital, Transplace said this morning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Transplace had previously been owned by another private equity investor, Greenbriar Equity Group, LLC, which acquired the company in 2013. Transplace and Greenbriar were advised by Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Hughes, Hubbard, & Reed LLP. TPG was advised by Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
