Transplace Snags Sabre Veteran As New CFO

Dallas-based Transplace, which provides logistics and transportation management services, said today that it has named Chris Nester as its new Chief Financial Officer. Nester was previously Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Sabre. Transplace said that Nester was involved in taking Sabre private in 2007, in the divestitures of Travelocity and Lastminute.com, and also in planning of Sabre's 2014 IPO.
