Nexstar Media Raises $2.5M For Harvey Relief
Irving, Texas-based Nextstar Media Group, the television station and media company, said it has so far raised $2.5 million for Hurricane Harvey relief. Nextstar says it has local resources and personnel at 170 local stations, across 100 U.S. markets, working on its own disaster relief campsign for communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The company said that--as a result of its commitment to its home state of Texas--it has been working with station managers across its network of stations to help lead fundraising campaigns to help raise funds.
