Texas Instruments Rolls Out Educational Robot
Dallas-based Texas Instruments has rolled out a new, educational robot--its first--called the TI-Innovator Rover. According to TI, the new robot is aimed for use in classrooms in STEM programs, allowing students without any coding experience to learn how to control robots. According to TI, the new educational robots connect with its line of graphic calculators (such as its popular TI-84 Plus line), and are aimed at helping students learn STEM subjects. TI's new robot includes a rechargeable battery, color sensor, distance sensor, LED display, gyroscope and marker holder to trace on paper. TI said the robot has an MSRP of $135.
