SoftNAS Launches New Hybrid Cloud Offering

Houston-based storage software developer SoftNAS has rolled out a new, cloud data management software aimed at the hybrid cloud market, the company said this morning. SoftNAS said its SoftNAS Cloud Data Platform bridges cloud operating systems like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure with existing, on-premise applications and software. Pricing on the new products were not announced. SoftNAS said the new platform is specifically aimed at such challenges as migrating large amounts of data into the cloud, capturing business data, and allowing existing IT staff to design and configure those systems.
