Linux Academy and Cloud Assessments Finds $6.8M

Austin-based Linux Academy, and related website Cloud Assessments, has raised $8.6M in a Series A funding for its online Linux training. The funding came from Arthur Ventures. According to the company--led by founder and CEO Anthony James--the funding will go to expand its content catalog, and also grow its Cloud Assessment platform. Linux Academy's Cloud Assessments provides a gamified IT testing and training tools to enterprises, both for their IT teams as well as prospective job candidates.
