TPG Growth Backs Online Religious Social Networking App Developer Pray.com

TPG Growth, the growth investment arm of Fort Worth-based TPG, is the lead investor in a developer of a mobile, social networking app aimed at religious communities. California-based Pray.com said this week that it has raised $14M in a Series A funding round, which was led by TPG Growth, and also included Science Inc. and Greylock Partners. The startup, led by CEO Steve Gatena, develops iOS and Android applications that let users join their preferred "faith community". More information »
