Whole Foods Market, Amazon Expand Outreach To Prime Members

Austin-based Whole Foods Market and parent company Amazon said this morning that it is extending the discounts it provides to Amazon Prime members at its grocery stores, to 12 additional states, and all of its Whole Foods Market 365 Stores. According to the two, Prime members will now receive an additional 10 percent off on sale items, plus exclusive weekly "deep discounts" on "select" popular products. The expanded program now covers Whole Foods stores in Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Kansas City, Missouri, Louisiana, New Mexico, northern Nevada, northern California, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah.
