GameStop Helps Out Children's Miracle Network With Video Game Trade-Ins

Frisco, Texas-based GameStop has put its marketing muscle behind helping charity the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, saying it will let its customers donate up to 100 percent of the trade-in value of their unused video game hardware, software, accessories, or consumer electronics to the charity. The company--which is launching the effort at the E3 videogame industry show in Los Angeles--said that the first 150 E3 pass holders at the show who donate their pre-owned video games to benefit CMN Hospitals, will receive a "early access" pass to the VIP entrance at E3. Those not attending the show can make donations at their local stores. CMN Hospitals treats sick and injured kid, according to GameStop.
